-3 C Gluten Free Baking Flour (we like Bobs Red Mill brand)
-1 C Cornmeal -1 T ground flax & 3 T water
-2 T baking powder
-1 t salt - -1/4 C sugar in the raw
-1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup to make vegan)
-3 Cups Almond Milk (any kind of milk)
-1/4 C Earth Balance (or butter)
make flax egg by stirring Flax with 3 T water & set aside
Mix dry ingredients well: Flour, Cornmeal, salt, sugar, Baking powder
Warm Milk, honey & Earth Balance on the stovetop & stir---medium low.
Add Flax mixture, dry ingredients & wet ingredients together & whisk till smooth.
