Chili Veggie Burger  

 

 

  • Ingredients

    1/4 Onion8oz mushrooms

    1/2 red pepper

    5 oz kale

    5 cloves garlic

    1 1/2 t salt

    4 T Chili powder

    1/2 t cumin

    1/2 t corriander

    2 t oregano

    1/4 C lemon juice

    1 Can black beans & all bean juice

    1/4 C ground flax seed

    2 1/2 cups oats

    pumkin seeds or sunflower seeds

  • Directions

    Puree onion, mushrooms, red pepper, kale, garlic salt, chili powder, cumin, coriander, oregano, lemon juice, & ½ Can Black Beans & all bean juice in a food processor

    Mix other ½ can of black beans, flax seeds, & oats in with the above mushroom mixture

    Form into burgers

    Put pumpkin or sunflower seeds on a plate and dip burgers

    Fry in olive oil on med/high 10-15 minutes per side or grill or stovetop

    *Get creative with your toppings. You may add melted cheese, salsa, avocados, tomato slices & any fixings you can imagine.
