Broccoli Tabouli Salad 

 

  • Ingredients

    -2 TBS olive oil

    -1/2 onion chopped

    -2 cloves garlic chopped

    -1 can chic peas (15.5 oz)

    -1 head broccoli chopped

    -1 Red or Green Pepper chopped

    -1/2 C golden raisins

    -1 Apple chopped

    -1 Cup bulgar wheat (cook according to directions)

    -2 T braggs liquid amino acid (or soy sauce)

    -pepper & salt to taste

    -1 T chili powder

    -1 t red pepper flakes

    -2 T Balsamic Vinegar

    -1 T olive Oil

  • Directions

    -Cook bulgar wheat separately according to package

    -In a frying pan-Brown 1/2 onion in olive oil on medium heat till browned

    -Add garlic & chic Peas(drained)

    -Add chili powder & red pepper flakes

    -Cook 5 minutes on medium

    -Add broccoli, stir till browned

    -Mix above together with raw pepper, raisins, apple, brags, olive oil, vinegar & salt & pepper.

    -Serve warm or cold.
