Vanilla Bean Bisque

 

 

  • Ingredients

    1/2 Onion

    1 pound Parsnips

    2 ribs of celery

    3 cloves garlic

    2 vanilla bean pods

    1 Boullion cube

  • Directions

    Chop all ingredients & Sautee in large pot

    Put enough water in Pot to cover the veggies & a 1/2 inch more water

    Add bouillon cube

    Simmer till soft 45 minutes

    Puree w/ hand blender

    Add salt & pepper to taste

    If you'd like to bring out the vanilla flavor more.....add 2 T honey or 2 T maple syrup
